1. Breathe, breathe in the air,
2. Don't be afraid to care,
3. Leave but don't leave me,
4. Look around and choose your own ground.
5. For long you live and high you fly,
6. And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry,
7. And all you touch and all you see,
8. Is all your life will ever be.
9. Run, rabbit, run,
10. Dig that hole, forget the sun,
11. And when at last the work is done,
12. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one.
13. For long you live and high you fly,
14. But only if you ride the tide,
15. And balanced on the biggest wave,
16. You race toward an early grave.
Pink Floyd, a British rock band formed in 1965, is known for their electronic and psychedelic rock style. They have evolved into a pioneering rock band renowned for their philosophical lyrics, sound experiments, album cover art, and meticulously designed live performances. Their albums have sold over 250 million copies worldwide, and over 73 million copies in the United States alone. After achieving success in psychedelic rock in the late 1960s under the leadership of Syd Barrett, the band was forced to replace him with guitarist and singer David Gilmour due to Syd Barrett's peculiar behavior. As singer and bassist Roger Waters emerged as the band's leader and principal creative force following Syd Barrett's departure. Under Roger Waters' leadership, the band released several albums that achieved global success, including "The Dark Side of the Moon" in 1973, "Wish You Were Here" in 1975, "Animals" in 1977, and "The Wall" in 1979. In 1985, Roger Waters announced the dissolution of Pink Floyd, but the remaining members continued to record and tour under the band's original name, enjoying significant commercial success. They eventually reached an agreement with Roger Waters to continue using the Pink Floyd name.
